These Chocolate Chip Cookies are delicious and so easy to make.

Ingredients

½ cup Butter

½ cup White Sugar

½ cup Brown Sugar

1 Egg

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1 ½ cups flour

½ teaspoon Baking Powder

1 teaspoon Hot Water

1 cup Chocolate Chips

Method

1. In a large bowl cream the butter, white sugar and brown sugar.

2. Mix the egg and vanilla extract into the butter mixture.

3. Mix the flour, baking powder, hot water and salt until almost combined. The dough should look a bit crumbly with flour spots.

4. Combine the chocolate chips until just combined.

5. Roll the dough into balls and chill them in the fridge for 30 minutes.

6. Line a baking pan with baking paper and add the rolled cookie dough onto it.

7. Preheat your oven to 180 ° C and then bake for 13 - 15 minutes or until the edges start to go golden brown.

8. Let the cookies cool before serving.
